"Yeah Yeah Yeahs sound unafraid of our expectations. And rightly so, given the ease with which they have surpassed them" - **** The Times

Everyone's favourite New York scenesters Yeah Yeah Yeahs release the third single from their critically lauded album Show Your Bones on September 4th (also the day in 1781 when Spanish settlers founded the city of Los Angeles......but that's another story).

A tale of what it is to be lovelorn and heart scorned, the gentle and melodic verse soon gives way to a cacophonous chorus filled with all the angles, drama and energy and we have come to expect from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The video is real treat. Funny and moving, it's made up from clips submitted by fans across the world of themselves performing the track. With more than one Karen O impersonated by a man, and an amazing attention to detail making telling the real band and fake bands apart a tricky task, one thing is clear - YYY's fans adore this... their band!

After a triumphant UK tour earlier in the year, the band return for the Carling Weekend, playing the main stage at Reading on Aug 25th and Leeds 26th, followed by an appearance at Glasgow's Victoria Park on Sept 2nd.

And to make the release just that little bit special, as well as being available as a download bundle with the brand new track Thank You Were Wrong, it will also come on a red, heart shaped 7", backed by a Peaches remix of Cheated Hearts, and complete with transfer tattoo insert - so you can wear your heart on your sleeve, literally.

PS - Don't miss Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the main stage at the Carling Reading (August 25th) and Leeds (August 26th) Festivals.
