Digital details of 'Put You In Your Place' single

The Sunshine Underground have announced details of the digital release of their new single, Put You In Your Place. This single, their third, will be released through City Rockers on Monday August 14th 2006.

Produced by Robert Harder, the single will be available with a variety of exclusives, collaborations and free tracks available as digital downloads only as follows:

The single will also be available on 2 x 7's and CD:

These b-sides are not available on the album and include live fave Out of Control.

The Silent Pony remix from renowned producer / DJ Dan Kahuna features alongside a Put You In Your Place Rethink from yob rappers Yes Boss and these tracks will be available only from The Sunshine Underground's 7 Digital Shop.

The exclusives don't stop there though as Put You In Your Place Live in Amsterdam features on iTunes as an exclusive and is available for download alongside the bundle from the 7th of August, a week prior to general release. Similarly, a version of the single recorded live in Berlin is an exclusive to HMV Digital.

Not only that, but for a limited period only, to encourage people along to the shop they're offering two more tracks, They Got A Hold of Us and Who Called The Dandy for free download.

The band are also making original and extended mixes of the single available, which they recorded last year.

The Sunshine Underground have a series of live dates confirmed for the summer and autumn, more are set to be announced very soon. The dates are as follows:

The new single, Put You In You Place, features on their debut album, Raise The Alarm, which is set for release on 28th August 2006, just after their appearance at this years Reading / Leeds festivals. Recorded with Segs and Steve Dub and Dan Kahuna (FC Kahuna) the 11 track album perfectly captures the spirit of the band that falls somewhere between the Happy Mondays, PIL or The Rapture.

The Sunshine Underground are: Craig Wellington (vocal / guitar), Stuart Jones (guitar), Daley Smith (bass) & Matthew Gwilt (drums).
