Debut trip abroad follows sold-out North American tour;
Band set to headline New Year’s Eve spectacular in NYC.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have announced details of their premiere European tour, which includes seven UK dates throughout November 2005.
The tour heralds the release of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album, currently slated for international release in early January 2006.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have received numerous accolades from the American music press, including their recent selection as a “Hot Band” in Rolling Stone’s annual “Hot Issue.”
The band’s first-ever North American tour has included sold out rooms across the continent, including shows in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, and more. Next week finds the band making their Los Angeles debut with a sold out two-night-stand at Los Angeles’ legendary Troubadour.
The self-released Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has consistently been among the top selling CDs at some of the biggest music stores in the US, a remarkable feat for an independent release.
